Incredibles 2 Release Update: Early Reactions on the sequel from viewers?

Pixar’s 20th feature-length animated movie The Incredibles 2 is inching closer and closer to its release date, and some early first reactions of the movie have just been unveiled. Does the long-awaited sequel live up to its 14-year-old predecessor?

Set not long after the occasions of the first movie, The Incredibles 2 sees the role reversal of married couple Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible(voiced by Craig T. Nelson) and Helen Parr/Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter), not only as crime fighters but also as parents. While Elastigirl is out battling, Mr. Incredible is compelled to remain at home and care for the kids. This ultimately unwinds huge problems for the super-powered family, but according to early reviews of the movie, those problems don’t have much to do with the sequel’s overall quality. The Incredibles 2 likewise incorporates the local talents of Sarah Vowell, Samuel L. Jackson, John Ratzenberger, and executive Brad Bird, who voices Edna Mode.
